Awning of the Week -'The Rugby Club'

GS Shades brings you our weekly instalment of our favourite awnings from across the globe.

Our second awning is actually one our very own we installed at Mumbles Rugby Club House.

Mumbles RFC was founded in 1887 and over the years has produced a large number of rugby players. Many have played at a higher level with neighbouring first-class teams. Mumbles RFC has established a reputation for hosting touring rugby teams from all over the world. The first team has also toured other countries, including England, Ireland, Europe, the United States, and Canada.

Our CEO and founder, Matthew Senior, played for the club as a junior in the 1980s and continues to be a keen supporter, donating the awning two years ago to help provide a durable and low maintenance shade solution for the front seating area that boasts a seafront position.
